3 tablespoons beef tallow (rendered beef fat - see Tidbits)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup beef bouillon (from 1 Knorr extra-large cube dissolved in water - see Tidbits)
1/4 cup cracker meal (crushed unsalted soda crackers - see Tidbits)
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic power
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
8 natural-casing beef hot dogs
8 soft white hot dog buns
Yellow mustard
Chopped sweet Vidalia onion
