¾ c sugar, plus additional to sprinkle on top crust

3 T cornstarch
•
1/2 tsp salt
•
1 T pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice
•
4 T heavy cream, divided (or evaporated milk)
•
1 t lemon juice
•
¼ tsp almond extract
•
1 tsp vanilla extract
