INGREDIENTS
2/3 cups all-purpose flour 
3 tablespoons sugar 
1 lemon 
1/8 teaspoon salt 
2/3 cups, plus 2 tablespoons, whole milk, at room temperature 
3 large eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for garnish)
