- TO ADD TO STARTER AFTER USE

1 1/2 cwater, warm

3/4 cflour, unsifted

How To Make sour dough bread starter

1In a large mixer bowl, combine all dry ingredients, add water and beat until thoroughly blended

2Put the mixture in a gallon size zip lock bag and let sit at room temperature four days, shaking thoroughly each day. Transfer to a qt size jar and refrigerate. Shake the mixture daily accept the day you are going to use it.

3Use at least once a week, add the additional ingredients after each use and mix well with a mixer and put back into a clean jar.
