Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar or prefered sweetening of choice to equal amount
- 1/4 cup milk, dairy or other
- 2 tablespoons prefered fat or oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup coarsely chopped peanuts

Step 1Sift the dry ingredients together

Step 2Work the fat (or oil) into the mixture

Step 3Beat the egg with the milk, and stir into the mixture

Step 4Finally, add the chopped peanuts to the mix and blend everything together

Step 5Pour the mix into a lightly greased loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven (350o F or 180o C) for about an hour
