Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (or 2 billion cubes in 11/2 c hot water
  • 1 cup peas
  • 3 ounces mushrooms, draines & sliced
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pimento
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 - refrigerated biscuits

How To Make chicken a la king biscuit snippets

  • Step 1
    Melt margarine, blend in flour. Gradually add broth. Cook and stir until thick. Add chicken, vegetables and salt. Heat until bubbling. Pour into 2 qt casserole.
  • Step 2
    With scissors, snip 6 biscuits into quarters, arrange in ring rounded sides down on top of hot chicken. Bake at 425 preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until biscuits are done.
