Ingredients
- 2 cups original bisquick
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 medium red apple, unpeeled, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make easy apple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 400ºF and spray a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.

Step 2In a medium sized bowl, combine Bisquick, 2 Tbsp. sugar, the milk, 2 Tbsp. butter and the egg until well blended. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Step 3Arrange the apple slices in three rows, overlapping slightly, on top of batter.

Step 4Brush 1/4 cup melted butter over tops of apple slices. In a small bowl, mix 2 Tbsp. sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.

Step 5Bake at 400º for 16 to 18 minutes, until edges are golden brown. Cool 15 minutes before serving Cut into 9 squares.
