This is something we used to make when you were "bored". I hope you pass on the tradition.

yield makes about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water
  • - food coloring

How To Make play dough

  • Step 1
    Mix the dry ingredients together in a pan, add water and coloring, stir. Cook 3-5 minutes over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Cool and play. Store in air tight container.
