This is an old recipe. We grew up eating this or versions of it. I think my grandma just threw it together without measuring anything.

How To Make peach cobbler
-
Step 1Peel peaches(use a vegetable peeler or heat water to boiling, drop peaches in for about 1 minutes, dip in cool water and the peelings should just come right off) If using canned peaches, all you have to do is open the can.
-
Step 2In a 9" square oven dish, mix sugar and flour together, add peaches, butter (cube butter in small pieces), and cinnamon, mix together
-
Step 3In a separate bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder together. Add milk, vanilla and about 1/2 of the melted butter, stir. Pour the mixture into the center of the peaches. Drizzle the rest of the butter over the top of the cobbler portion and sprinkle with the brown sugar. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes to-1 hour Serve warm with ice cream. Yum!
