Ingredients
- 6 medium red & yellow delicious apples, diced
- 8 oz cans pineapple tidbits, drained-blot dry
- 2 cups seedless red or green grapes, cut in half
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- DRESSING
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 8 oz - whipped topping
How To Make dixieland waldorf fruit salad

Step 1Mix sugar, flour, cream, butter, and pineapple juice.

Step 2Bring to a boil and remove from heat.

Step 3Fold in whipped topping

Step 4Cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Step 5Chop Grapes and blot dry.

Step 6Chop Apples

Step 7Mix in apples, grapes, & pineapple tidbits.

Step 8Add walnuts just before serving to avoid turning fruit dark.
