A sweet and creamy southern style of Waldorf Salad

Ingredients For dixieland waldorf fruit salad

  • 6 md
    red & yellow delicious apples, diced
  • 8 oz can
    pineapple tidbits, drained-blot dry
  • 2 c
    seedless red or green grapes, cut in half
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 8 oz
    whipped topping

How To Make dixieland waldorf fruit salad

    Mix sugar, flour, cream, butter, and pineapple juice.

    Bring to a boil and remove from heat.

    Fold in whipped topping

    Cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

    Chop Grapes and blot dry.

    Chop Apples

    Mix in apples, grapes, & pineapple tidbits.
