ginger snaps
I found this recipe in an old cookbook that I had. This is one of Dad's and Grandpa Burgess' favorite cookie.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar in a bowl
How To Make ginger snaps

Step 1In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar until fluffy. Add the other ingredients given, in order, (accept the bowl of sugar). Mix.

Step 2I usually use a cookie scoop and divide the scoop of dough in half, roll the dough in a ball, roll in the bowl of sugar. Place the cookie on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
