deviled eggs

I have made these for every holiday since I can remember, a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 6 - eggs
  • 3 tablespoons miracle whip
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish or my homemade sweet pickles, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • dash paprika

How To Make deviled eggs

  • Step 1
    Cover eggs with water in a saucepan and bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes. Shut off heat, cover with lid and let sit for 15 minutes. Run cold water over eggs to cool. Peel off shell .
  • Step 2
    Cut eggs in half (lengthwise). Place the yolks in a separate bowl and place the whites on a plate or serving platter.
  • Step 3
    Smash the yolks with a fork until fine or put in a small food processor
  • Step 4
    Add the rest of the ingredients with the yolks, stir well. Taste a small amount to see if you need to add vinegar or mustard, etc.
  • Step 5
    Fill the egg whites with a heaping teaspoon of the yolk mixture
  • Step 6
    Sprinkle paprika over the eggs.
  • Step 7
    Cover and refrigerate until served.
