This is how my Mom made Mac and cheese, but she used all Velveeta. I altered it by adding the sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy!

Ingredients For mac and cheese

  • 2 c
    pasta, elbo or other
  • 4 oz
    velveeta, cubed
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • fresh ground pepper to taste

How To Make mac and cheese

    Cook pasta according to directions on package(make sure you add enough salt to your water so it tastes like sea water) Drain pasta(do not rinse)
  • 2
    Cut Velveeta into cubes and using the same pan you cooked the pasta in, pour the milk and add Velveeta and pepper, stir until melted. Add pasta and the cheddar cheese, stir until melted, serve. If you let this sit, the pasta will absorb all the cheese sauce and it will not taste as good. Serve as soon as you can.
