ethel's sugar cut out cookies
Makes about 4 dozen. Note: variation- use 1/2 tsp lemon flavoring instead of vanilla. This is the cookie recipe originally borrowed from the Betty Crocker Cookie Book, mom made for our Christmas cut outs since 1967. ("Cut Out Cookies" recipe was used before 1967) She baked and frosted them. Tom and I would decorate them!
