turkey chili

I came up with this recipe one day. I was looking for something low fat and I had turkey and all of the ingredients on hand. I guess I stumbled on to something that I have really enjoyed, I hope you do, too.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds turkey, ground
  • 16 oz cans fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 can rotel
  • 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans beans, black and pinto (1 each)
  • 1 cup corn, frozen
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

How To Make turkey chili

  • Step 1
    Brown turkey in 3 qt pan. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans and corn. Stir. Add spices, stir. Bring to boil, turn heat down, cover, simmer, and let cook for about 45 minutes. Serve with mexican corn bread.
