Ingredients
- 2 medium acorn squash
- - salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
How To Make acorn squash
-
Step 1Cut the acorn squash in half, lengthwise then clean out the seeds and membrane. I know this may seem strange, but using a jar ring (for canning), place a jar ring on the baking pan then set the squash on the ring(this stabilizes the squash)
-
Step 2Salt and pepper the squash. Using your fingers, take a Tablespoon of butter and rub it on the inside of the squash, then add a Tablespoon of brown sugar to the squash by rubbing it on the inside of the squash. Bake at 350 for an 1 hour.
-
Step 3To eat the squash, take a spoon and scoop out the squash onto your plate. I believe I did this for you when you were growing up.
