Yes, you use baby food! I love this cake and it is so easy! I have had this recipe since we lived in North Carolina.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
3-4oz jars carrot baby food
nuts, if desired
1 recipe of cream cheese frosting

How To Make carrot sheet cake

Step 1

Mix the ingredients in the same order as given in the list. Bake in a prepared 1" deep sheet pan for 20-30 minutes until you can lightly touch the center of the cake and it will spring back.

Step 2

Use my cream cheese frosting recipe to ice it with after it has cooled completely and sprinkle it with a few chopped nuts.
