Ingredients
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 ounces butterscotch chips
- 3 ounces dry chow mein noodles
- 7 ounces peanuts, dry roasted

Step 1Original directions: Melt chocolate chips and caramels together over hot water, covered Mix noodles and nuts together, then stir it into the chocolate mixture Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet lined with wax paper Chill for at least 10 minuets, best at 30 minuets

Step 2Microwave directions: Melt the chocolate and the butterscotch chips together in a microwave safe bowl, just 20 seconds at a time or so, stirring to make sure they’ve melted all together. Stir in the chow mein noodles and peanuts until all are thoroughly coated. Drop mixture by tablespoonful onto waxed paper. They will look like birds’ nests, or sea urchins, or shapeless blobs. Chill in refrigerator until completely firm.
