Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 box rice a roni spanish rice mix
- 15 ounces tomatoes, canned and diced (for the spanish rice mix)
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup mozzarella or chedder cheese, shredded
How To Make stuffed bell pepers

Step 1Remove tops and seeds from peppers; parboil peppers for 5 minutes and drain.

Step 2Place peppers in a baking dish.

Step 3Combine ground beef and onion and cook together until done. Drain and set aside.

Step 4Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to package directions.

Step 5When rice is done, combine it with the beef and onion

Step 6Fill peppers with rice mixture.

Step 7Mix the 1 teaspoons sugar with the tomato sauce and pour this AROUND the peppers (not over).

Step 8Cover the baking dish.

Step 9Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes and then uncover and top with the shredded cheese.

Step 10Bake uncovered for about 5 minutes more to melt cheese.

Step 11Serve with the tomato sauce.
