Ingredients
- 8-10 beets, trimmed or 2 cans
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon pickling spice
How To Make pickled beets

Step 1Wash beets with a stainless steel scrubber, cut off ends. Slice 1/4 inch or quarter beets and then cook 30 minutes. Drain

Step 2Combine sugar, vinegar, an pickling spice(tied in a cloth or pickling bag). Add beets. Bring to a boil and cook another 30 minutes. Place into jar and cover with juice and lid, of course. Refrigerate.
