I used to make this chili so Matthew would eat it and that was to use pork n beans, but now I use regular beans and that depends what I have on hand. It could be a red bean, pintos, kidney, or navy beans. This is a good chili that you can use as a base and add heat, etc. to it.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 quart tomatoes, run through a blender
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 cans beans, pinto or red, your choice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
How To Make chili

Step 1Brown ground beef in a 3 qt pot, drain excess grease, add onion, cook a little more. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beans. Stir.

Step 2Add chili powder(if you want it spicier, add more chili powder), salt, cumin, paprika and sugar, stir. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 30 - 45 minutes.
