1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup plain yellow cornmeal
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
