This is Grandma Burgess's recipe, but I have revised it just to make 1 pie instead of 2.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 6 ounces evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan pieces
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
How To Make chocolate pecan pie

Step 1In the microwave, melt the butter in a bowl. Add the chocolate chips to melt them a little.

Step 2Beat eggs in a medium sized bowl and then add the rest of the ingredients, add the chocolate chip mixture last and mix well. Pour the mixture into the pie shell and bake at 350 for 40 - 45 minutes.
