This is another family favorite. If you like sour cream, you can put a dollop on top of your stroganoff.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef, 85% lean or more
- 1 can cream of chicken soup, fat-free
- 1 package onion soup mix, dry
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- RICE
- 2 cups rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make hamburger stroganoff

Step 1Brown the hamburger and crumble in a 1 1/2 qt saucepan with lid (do not cover), drain fat from beef, keeping the browned remains in the pan, do not clean.

Step 2Add the flour, onion soup mix, and the drained beef back into the pan, stir. Add cream of chicken soup in the pan, stir. Add the water, and milk, stir. Cover and simmer while making the rice. Stirring occasionally.

Step 3In another sauce pan, add water and salt, bring to boil. Add the rice, stir, cover, simmer until done. ( Follow the instructions on the rice, you may need less water)

Step 4To serve, place a layer of rice on a plate, ladle the beef mixture over top. Serve with a nice salad or vegetable.
