Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup water, warm
- FROSTING
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar

Step 1In a microwavable bowl, combine the peanut butter and butter, melt.

Step 2Cake:In a bowl combine the sugar, flour and baking soda, mix. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and add the egg, sour cream, and applesauce mix together. Add the water and the warm peanut butter mixture, mix. Pour the cake batter in a 9" x 9" pan and bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Let sit for about 5-10 minutes before putting on frosting.

Step 3Frosting:Combine the peanut butter and butter together and melt in a microwavable bowl. Stir in milk, then the powdered sugar and vanilla. This is not a stiff frosting. Frost while cake is still warm.
