This is a recipe that my grandma used to make and it is one of my favorites.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar, granulated
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

How To Make lemon bars

  • Step 1
    Cut butter, flour and confectioners' sugar together with a fork or pastry cutter. Press in an ungreased square pan( 8x8"), pressing up along the edges about 1/2".
  • Step 2
    Beat remaining ingredients about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Pour over crust. Bake about 30 minutes at 350. Cool, dust with powdered sugar, cut into squares.
