A cookie. A candy. And A pizza all in one. What could be better. I made this one a few time for my niece & nephew when they were small.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    shortening
  • 2 tsp
    orange peel, grated
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/3 c
    bisquick mix
  • 1/2 c
    rich & creamy vanilla frosting
  • 1 1/2 c
    gum drops, red and green (small)
  • 1/2 c
    vanilla or white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp
    shortening

How to Make Sugarplums Be Dancing on my Cookie Pizza

Step-by-Step

  1. First pre-heat the oven to 350F. Grease a 12 inch pizza pan with the shrotening pr spray with the cooking spray. The mix the sugar, 1/4 cup shortening, orange peel & egg in a large bowl woth a spoon. The stir in the bisquick until dough forms. Then spread or pat the dough on the bottom & upthe side of the pan.
  2. Next bakefor about 10 to 11 mins or until the crust is lightly golden & set. Let cool in the pan for about 30 mins.
  3. Then spread the frosting over the whole cookie crust. Then top with the gumdrops. Then melt the chocolate chips & 1 Tsp. shortening in a small microwave bowl uncovered on medium-high heat for about 1 min. Then stir & continue to microwave 10 seconds at a time.Stir each time until the chips are smooth. Then drizzle over the cookie. Then let stand for about 15 to 20 mins or until topping is set. Then cut into wedges to serve.
