Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 c
    (8 oz. can) crushed pineapple, undrained

How to Make MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES WITH PINEAPPLE

Step-by-Step

  1. CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGARS, BEAT IN EGG AND VANILLA.
  2. SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS; ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH PINEAPPLE. FOLD IN NUTS.
  3. DROP BY TEASPOON 4 IN. APART ONTO GREASED BAKING SHEET. BAKEAT 350 FOR 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED.
