How to Make Texas Tamale Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix meats, V-8 juice and eggs.
  2. Combine dry ingredients and add to meat mixture. Be sure that all dry mix is evenly blended with meat.
  3. Pinch off a small amount and roll into marble or bite size balls. NOTE: I used a small cookie scoop, either way works fine.
  4. Place on two large cookie sheets with sides. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes depending on size of balls.
  5. Sauce
Use 2 bottles of Chili Sauce (you can find it where the cocktail sauce is located in the store). Add 1 tablespoon chili powder. Place sauce in small crock pot and add meatballs. Serve warm.
