    all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 4 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla pure extract (not imitation)

How To Make grandma's butter cookies

  • Ingredients mixed until smooth.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ingredients until smooth.
  • Dough dropped on a cookie sheet.
    Drop tablespoon-sized dough on a greased cookie sheet (try to resist your and your husband's temptation to eat the raw dough).
  • Baking the butter cookies.
    Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the outside edges of cookies are golden.
