  • 1 lb
    butter (soft)
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 5 c
    flower
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 4 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • dash
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla pure extract (not imitation)

How to Make Grandma's Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix ingrediants together until smooth.
  3. Drop tablespoon sized dough on greased cookie sheet (try to resist you and your husband's temptation from eating the raw dough).
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until outside edges of cookies are golden.
  5. Enjoy!
