I got this recipe from my sister years ago and it's a hit whenever I make it.

Ingredients

  • 2 29 oz
    cans sweet potatoes, drained & mashed (sometimes i substitute yams)
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • TOPPING

  • 1 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1
    stick melted butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c
    coconut
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Sweet Potato Praline Crunch

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix yams, milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla and salt with electric mixer and spread in a buttered 13x9" casserole dish.
  2. Mix topping together and spread over yams.
  3. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
