Ingredients

  • 2 large
slices pound cake (i bought a pound cake in the bakery)
  • 1 c
vanilla ice cream (i use all natural, but any vanilla ice cream will do)
  • 1 c
    frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1
    banana
  • ·
    chocolate syrup
  • ·
    whipped cream

How to Make Cheater Banana Split Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Let the ice cream soften up some at room temperature. Place the sliced pound cake on 2 serving plates. Top each with 1/2 cup ice cream.
  2. Stir strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar and microwave for 1 minute. Spoon strawberries over ice cream. Slice the banana over the ice cream too.
  3. Drizzle with the chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.

(If desired, you may also put a couple of tablespoons of crushed pineapple on each serving before the chocolate sauce. I just didn't have any at the time.)
