Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 c
    reduce-fat bisquick mix
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    half an half or light cream
  • 3 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 large
    egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking cocoa powder
  • 3/4 c
    mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c
    chocolate flavored syrup
  • 1/4 c
    sliced almonds

How to Make Hot cocoa muffins

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 400. Lightly spray muffin tins w/ cooking spray.
  2. In lg bowl, combine bisquick mix and sugar. Make a well in the center of mix.
  3. In another bowl, combine half and half or cream, and remaining ingredients. Pour into well of bisquick mix, Stir until just moistened. Spoon mix evenly into muffin tins, 2/3 full. bake about 12 min, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
