19" graham pie crust

8granny smith apples

4 Tbsplemon juice

1-1/4 cbrown sugar

1/3 cwhite sugar

1 tspnutmeg

1/2 c+ 2 tblspn flour

How To Make dutch apple pie

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheit

2Core, peel and slice apples thin (thick slices will take too long to cook.) Place apples and lemon juice in a bowl, mix well.

3Mix brown sugar, white sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Mix in chopped pecans.

4Add half the mixture to the apples and mix to coat. Place apple mixture into crust.

5Evenly sprinkle the other half of the crumb mixture on top.

6Put foil around crust. Bake at 375 degrees farenheit for 40 minutes.

7Remove foil and bake an additional 20 minutes.
