Here is another Ohio recipe.. Funny I am from Salem Massachusetts, amazing what we do for our spouses.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 1/2 lb
    confectionary sugar
  • 1/2 lb
    butter,or margarine, room temperature
  • 18 oz
    chocolate chips (any flavor) (or the block melting chocolate sold in many grocery stores)

How to Make Peanut Butter Balls (Buckeyes)

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine the first three ingredients completely
  2. Form into small balls the size of walnuts and refrigerate for 1 hour
  3. Melt chocolate in a double boiler
  4. Dip the peanut butter balls into chocolate leaving a small portion of the peanut butter exposed and place on waxed paper
  5. Refrigerate until firm
