The flavor of the rub and the sauce is WONDERFUL. They go so great together. I know most would not think of a white barbecue sauce but this one is GREAT. Serve chicken with grilled corn and some grilled zucchini; YUMMY. You will not be disappointed with this meal. Not just the great taste, but it is all prepared on the grill. No kitchen clean-up. :)

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Tender and juicy, these grilled chicken thighs are an affordable meal. The seasoned skin is perfectly crisp while the meat stays juicy and tender. We loved the white barbecue sauce. It's slightly tangy with just a little bite. It's delicious alongside the grilled chicken thighs.

How To Make grill chicken thighs w/ white barbecue sauce

Test Kitchen Tips
The seasonings add a nice color to the chicken thighs but don't be fooled. Use a kitchen thermometer to make sure it's at least 165 degrees near the bone.
  • Chicken seasonings combined in a bowl.
Combine chicken dry ingredients until blended.
  • Chicken coated in seasonings.
Rinse and dry chicken. Rub seasoning all over the chicken. Put chicken in a Ziploc bag, seal, and place in the fridge for about 4 hours. You can do this in the morning before you go to work as well.
  • Grilling chicken thighs.
Heat your grill medium-high heat (350-400 degrees). Grill chicken (you will want to close the lid).
  • Continuing to grill the chicken thighs.
Grill for about 8-10 minutes on each side or until the meat thermometer read 180 degrees. Serve with the White Barbecue Sauce.
  • White barbecue sauce combined in a bowl.
For the White Barbecue Sauce: stir all ingredients together. Chill for about 2-4 hours. The sauce will keep for about a week in the fridge.
