Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2
    eggs
  • 8
    saltine crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 pkg
    meatloaf seasoning mix
  • 15 oz
    can of tomatoe sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • dash(es)
    salt and pepper
  • 1 medium
    yellow onion, chopped

How to Make Meatloaf my way

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil. Mix the ground beef, eggs, crackers, season mix,onion and 1/2 can of tomatoe sauce in large mixing bowl. When well blended, put in prepared pan, shape into a loaf.
  2. Take the rest of the tomatoe sauce and mix it in a small bowl with the brown sugar, pour over meatloaf.
  3. Cook until center of meatloaf is well done. About halfway through cooking drain grease from pan, the foil makes this and clean up an easier job. Enjoy!
