So I get into this "thing" where I have to have peanut butter and chocolate together. I don't always want it in a bar or candy bar. Cookies are an awsome alternative. These are rather tastey!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    sifted unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 c
    butter or margarine softened
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 c
    white sugar or you can use 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    peanut butter chips

How to Make Double Chocolate Peanut butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. I put the oven rack to second lowest position for these. Grease baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, using electric mixer cream together butter, vanilla, peanut butter and sugar(s) until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs until well combined. Then beat in dry ingredients. Mix in chips.
  5. Drop by tablespoon fulls onto baking sheet, about 2in. apart. Bake for about 10 mins. Cool cookies on racks.
