Spinach Cream Cheese Casserole
Back then I hated spinach. Now I like it....

3 ozcream cheese, room temperature
10 ozfrozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
1 can(s)condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)french fried onions
1/2 tspeach salt and freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
·saltine cracker crumbs (1 sleeve, crushed)
How to Make Spinach Cream Cheese Casserole
- Mix cream cheese into spinach until smooth.
Add soup, blend until well mixed, then fold in French fried onions, salt and pepper. Put in buttered baking dish.
Melt butter and stir in enough crackers crumbs to absorb butter. Spread over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and topping is golden.
- The key to making this dish good is to drain spinach VERY WELL.
