3egg yolks, slightly beaten

3bananas, sliced

1baked 9" pie shell
How to Make Banana Cream Pie
- Combine cornstarch, sugar, & salt. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until thick & boils, stirring constantly.
- Cook 2 minutes, remove from heat.
- Add a little hot mixture to egg yolks, return to hot mixture & cook 1 minute longer.
- Stir in butter & vanilla. Cool.
- Arrange banana slices in pie shell.
- Pour cooled filling over bananas.
