My 'Aunt' Jan's delicious peppermint ice cream - I don't even like peppermint and I still love this ice cream!

Ingredients For peppermint ice cream

1 qthalf and half

2 cansweetened condensed milk

1 1/3 cmilk
-
3/4 cwater

2 Tbspvanilla extract

1 1/3 ccrushed peppermint candies
How To Make peppermint ice cream

1In freezer can, stir together half and half, sweetened condensed milk, 2/3 c mints, 3/4 c water, and vanilla. Chill several hours or overnight.

2Freeze - this will take about 45 minutes. Remove dasher and stir in remaining mints. Put in deep freezer about 3 hours to harden.
