  • 3/4 c
    mashed sweet potatoes, fresh or canned ( as long as it's not pie filling)
  • 2/3 c
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 c
    plain flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • ·
    scant dash cinnamon

How to Make Sweet Potato Biscuits


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix potatoes, butter, milk and add dry ingredients. Make a soft dough.
  3. Turn out onto a floured board and toss lightly. Pat out dough about 1" thick. Cut with floured cutter.
  4. Bake on greased pan for about 15 minutes.
