How to Make Fruit Salad with Lemon Basil Syrup

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash and cut fruit. Place in a bowl.
  2. Zest of one lemon in to bowl of fruit
  3. In a small saucepan add sugar and juice of two lemons.
  4. Bring to a boil and boil til slightly thick.
  5. Turn off heat and add basil. Steep for 5 min.
  6. Pour lemon basil syrup over fruit salad and refrigerate until ready to eat.
