    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne
  • 1/2 c
    masa harina
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 2 lb
    fish filets cut in bite-size pieces
  • 1 qt
    oil for frying

How to Make Fish Mcnuggetts

Step-by-Step

    Preheat oil to 350.
  2. 2
    In medium size bowl beat egg, milk, salt and pepper together.
  3. 3
    In another medium size bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  4. 4
    Dip nuggets into drench mix, drain and coat well in dredge.
  5. 5
    Carefully place few nuggets at a time into hot oil.
  6. 6
    Fish will float when golden brown and done. (About 2 minutes)

    Best to use electric fryer with basket.
  8. 8
    Drain onto paper towels, serve right now with tartar or cocktail sauce.
