Ingredients

  • 8
    chicken legs or thighs
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 16 oz
    whole tomatoes
  • 1
    chopped onion
  • 4 oz
    mushrooms, sliced and drained
  • 1
    minced garlic clove
  • 1.5 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream

How to Make Chicken Lickin'

Step-by-Step

  1. Rinse the chicken parts and pat dry.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet.
  3. Brown the chicken on all sides in the butter.
  4. Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
  5. Combine all the other ingredients except the cream together.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour over the chicken.
  8. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
  9. Stir in the heavy cream just before serving.
  10. Serve over hot spaghetti.
