Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    chicken -- de-boned & chopped
  • 6 slice
    bacon
  • 1 small
    onion -- diced
  • 1 large
    bell pepper -- diced
  • 3
    stalks of celery -- diced
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (15 oz) can(s)
    sweet peas
  • 12 oz
    small elbow noodles
  • ·
    shredded mozarella cheese -- amount desired

How to Make Chicken Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil Chicken until done. Then de-bone and chop chicken in bite size pieces.
  2. Strain the chicken broth and set broth aside.
  3. Add the Broth to Pot. Then add Milk and Butter. Get it to a boil and add noodles. Once noodles are done strain and add to casserole pan.
  4. Place the bacon in skillet and fry till almost done; cut bacon in pieces and then set aside.
  5. Add chopped chicken, celery, bell pepper, onion, and bacon pieces in skillet with bacon grease. Cook until veggies and meat is well done.
  6. Add everything else to casserole pan with noodles and mix well.
  7. Place the casserole pan in 375 degree oven and cook until almost done and then add cheese to the top and let it melt.
