Are you not a fan of cranberries during the holidays? This is a wonderful substitute.

My mother and I have differing opinions on this recipe. She uses walnuts and I use pecans.

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 6 oz
    cherry flavored jello
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 3/4 c
    nuts
  • 1 can(s)
    (8 oz) crushed pineapple
  • 1 can(s)
    (12 oz) coke

How to Make Cherry Coke Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil pie filling, sugar, 1/4 cup water and jello.
  2. Add 1/2 cup water, nuts and pineapple.
  3. Add Coke.
  4. Pour into bowl.
  5. Set in refrigerator one hour.
  6. Stir and return to refrigerator until served.
