Ingredients

  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    corn
  • 1 c
    potatoes, cut up
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2
    beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • 16 oz
    processed cheese spread
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sauce

How to Make Cheese and Meatball Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Meatballs: mix beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and 1/2 teaspoon of hot sauce together thoroughly.
  2. Shape into medium size meatballs.
  3. Place uncooked meatballs and all other ingredients, except cheese spread, in electric slow cooker.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. Cover and cook on setting low for 8 to 10 hours.
  6. Before serving add cheese spread, stirring gently until well blended.
