Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2/3 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/3 c
    uncooked oatmeal
  • 1/2 c
    corn flakes or frosted flakes
  • 8 slice
    cooked, crispy bacon or real bacon bits in package
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs

How to Make Breakfast Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine flour, soda and salt; mix well-set aside.
    Beat butter and sugar until creamed. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
    Add flour mixture, mixing well by hand.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Chill dough about 30 minutes. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake about 12-14 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute before removing.
  2. Raisins may be added as well.
