I made this for a co-worker's going away party. I was going to just do chocolate pudding, brownies and cool whip. But, at the last minute, thought to add the cherries. My last layer of cool whip was a little much, but everyone loved it.

Ingredients

How to Make Black Forest Trifle

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare brownies according to instructions on the package. Let cool and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Prepare pudding according to instructions on the package.
  3. Layer the bottom of your trifle dish (or other clear glass bowl) with the cubes of brownies. Add 1/2 the pudding. Layer Cool Whip, then cherries. Repeat until all ingredients used.
  4. Finish with a few more cubes of brownies and the remaining cherries. Chill until set, then serve.
